For over 35 years, Michael Downs filled roles as varied as Creative Director, Experiential Designer, Production Scenic Designer and Art Director, and he has over 800 productions to his Credit in 40 countries spanning 5 continents, and across 49 states. He most currently was the Production Designer and Art Director for the Electronic Music Awards on September 21, 2017.
Recent Credits include MTV's recent live music driven series Wonderland (featuring Steve Aoki, Blink 182, Lil Jon, Mac Miller, Tinashe and more), as well as Fifth Harmony's 2017 Televsion performances, the Winter Olympics Medals Plaza in Sochi, Winter Olympics in Vancouver, Amazon, Nintendo’s Wii Summer Games, Google, Microsoft, Lenovo, Dow, and Wendy's to name a few. Michael is an Emmy Award Nominee for NBC’s Democracy Plaza in Rockefeller Center. He has a strong background in theatre design and a deep passion for art, music and culture.
